Washington County’s hotels continue to perform at near-2019 levels.
According to STR, which provides market data on the hotel industry around the globe. Washington County’s hotels continue to make an upward trajectory in two key performance areas: Occupancy (OCC) and Average Daily Room Rates (ADR). For the month of June 2022, room occupancy grew to 82.6%–a 15.2% increase over 2021, and just over 1% shy of 2019 occupancy. Average daily room rates grew to $143.42, nearly $10 more than it was in 2019.
These occupancy and ADR numbers growth is also encouraging, given that during the same six-month period in 2019, Washington County had a total of 53 hotels (5,406 available hotel rooms). In 2022, Washington County’s room inventory rose to 57 hotels (6,032 available hotel rooms).
