Weekly Hotel Performance: September 12-18, 2021

According to STR, hotel occupancy for the week increased by 18.4% over the same time last year, and average daily room rates (ADR) has increased by 26.1% to $118.96.

The following tables provide an overview of occupancy levels (OCC) and ADR for 2020 and 2021. As the first table illustrates, there was an anomaly during the week ending September 11, 2020, with a step spike and subsequent decline in occupancy.  Last year, wildfires and evacuations in neighboring counties accounted for higher occupancy levels in 2020.
