Hotel Performance: July 2021

Washington County’s hotels continue to rebound from 2020’s low occupancy and average daily rates. According to STR, occupancy (OCC) levels for the month of July are up by 64.7% to 72.9% occupancy when compared to the same month one year ago. Average daily room rates (ADR) are also higher than the same period last year, with ADR  for July 2021 at $125.18 for the month (a 35.3% increase over 2020). 2021 Year-to-Date
So far, for calendar year 2021, countywide occupancy (OCC) levels for the first seven months of 2021 are up by 38.2% when compared to the same period last year. Average daily room rates (ADR) are nearly flat compared with the same period last year, with ADR  for July 2021 at $101.42 for the year (a 0.9% increase over 2020).
