Washington County’s hotels continue to slowly rebound from COVID-related downturns in 2020. According to STR, occupancy (OCC) levels for the month of May are nearly double than occupancy levels one year ago. Average daily room rates (ADR) are improving, with ADR improving 14.2% for the month, compared to 2020. So far this year, hotels have experienced an overall 23.1% increase in occupancy over 2020, while ADR is still lagging behind 2020.
