The Vancouver Canadians Baseball Club will start its 2021 season in Hillsboro, Oregon, at Ron Tonkin Field. The team decided to start the season in Oregon due to the COVID-19 induced closure of the border between the United States and Canada.

The Canadians will share the stadium with the Hillsboro Hops. The Hops and City of Hillsboro have extended a warm welcome the Canadians and will host the team as long as they need.

“I want to thank the City of Hillsboro, The Hillsboro Hops & Major League Baseball for their support during this challenging time. Mike McMurray, KL Wombacher and the entire Hops organization have been fantastic to work with and we are so appreciative of their accepting of us into their wonderful facility. The City of Hillsboro, Mayor Steve Callaway and Scott Brucker from the City of Hillsboro also deserve a big thank you for all their efforts and allowing us a first-class venue to play and operate,” said Vancouver Canadians Baseball Club President Andy Dunn.

The Hillsboro Hops have been approved to welcome fans to Ron Tonkin Field at 25% capacity this spring. The season is May 4 through early September. Hops schedule >>> Canadian’s Schedule >>>
