COVID-19 has directly affected the hotel industry throughout the United States, and Washington County is no exception. We are still seeing decreases directly tied to the decrease in business and leisure travel due to COVID-19 and related travel restrictions and recommendations.
For February 14-20, 2021, Washington County’s hotel occupancy averaged 68%, a 6% decrease from the same period in 2020. The average daily room rate (ADR) during the same period was $94.13, an 15.9% decrease from the same period last year.
