Businesses in Beaverton looking to spruce up their storefront or interior can apply for the city’s Storefront and Tenant Improvement Program.

There are multiple grants available for creating designs and improving interiors or exteriors. The design grant offers a city architect to help develop a concept and scope of work to send to contractors for bidding. The improvement grants are matching grants of up to $50,000 to help with improvements to interiors or exteriors.

Property owners in downtown Beaverton and Allen Boulevard Program areas are eligible for Storefront Improvement grants while new and existing restaurant owners in downtown Beaverton are eligible for the Tenant Improvement Program.

Many businesses have been awarded grants through these programs over the years, including Carina’s Bakery, Beaverton Florist, Global Art of Dance, Ickabod’s, Family Café, Clockwork Rose Tea Emporium and more.
