COVID-19 has directly affected the hotel industry throughout the United States, and Washington County is no exception. While Washington County’s hotel occupancy is performing better than other destinations, it is still a decrease from last year during the same period.
For the week of September 6, 2020 to September 12, 2020, Washington County’s hotel occupancy averaged 69.4%, a 14.1% decrease from the same period last year. The average daily room rate (ADR) during the same period was $96.97, a 23.2% decrease from the same period in 2019.
Hotel occupancy for this week increased due to wildfire evacuees from elsewhere in Oregon. See last week’s data >>>
