COVID-19 has directly affected the hotel industry throughout the United States, and Washington County is no exception. While hotel occupancy is performing better than other destinations, it is still a decrease from last year during the same period.
For the week of August 30, 2020 to September 5, 2020, Washington County’s hotel occupancy averaged 52.2%, a 23.9% decrease from the same period last year. The average daily room rate (ADR) during the same period was $91.09, a 20.7% decrease from the same period in 2019.
