Oregon Statewide Transient Lodging Tax Rate Decreases to 1.5%
Starting July 1, 2020, Oregon’s statewide transient lodging tax rate changes to 1.5% from 1.8%. In 2016, the Oregon Legislature passed House Bill 4146, which increased the state transient lodging tax rate from 1.0% to 1.8%. The sunset clause, which took effect on July 1, 2020, reduced the rate to 1.5%.
